Direction for Youth is a vital 501(c)(3) organization based in Saint Paul, Minnesota that provides access to quality education progamming to at-risk youth and young adults; these populations include low-income youth and minorities. Through the continuation of our programs and services, we address the needs of our target communities, brighten lives, and assist each participant in achieving their short-term and long-term goals.

Over the last five years, we have seen an increase in youth death due to drug overdose and gun violence, and youth continue to drop out of school. Our services and programs are needed now more than ever. The ongoing mission of Direction for Youth is to ensure that underserved and underrepresented Minnesotan youth and young adults have equitable access to educational opportunities, such as graduation from high school, so every individual can become a successful community-minded adult, regardless of their circumstance.
